Early on in Taylor's life, we made a decision that would hopefully give him a productive and normal life. While in a craniofacial team meeting for Taylor, we were told that he may only be able to have eight fingers and may need special education, a switch went off in our heads... "click!" Our new goal for Taylor was ten fingers and public school. Well, I'm happy to report that after fine tuning our craniofacial team at CHLA, and working with the local school district, our little boy has done just that. He now has ten fingers and is in a second grade class that looks past his facial differences.

Today Taylor is a happy boy who enjoys working on his dad's old car, playing soccer and baseball, and bouncing on the trampoline!! He also adapts himself to "whatever a normal young boy does". Taylor enjoys life to the fullest even while making countless trips to CHLA each year. He attends scheduled appointments to ensure he is kept on track and to look forward and see what surgeries he will need in the future. Even though he misses some school for his procedures in Hollywood, CA ( "Big City" as he likes to call it), he is progressing well.

Taylor’s parents are Mark and Cynthia Wilson.  He has an older brother Zachary and an older sister Misia.
